Home Information Packs
All
our Home Information Packs (Hips) are covered by the Home Information Packs
(HIP) code of practice which is designed to protect the interests of
consumers. The code which is sponsored by AHIPP and is administered by the
Property Codes Compliance Board www.propertycodes.org.uk which is an
independent regulator with a majority of consumer interest board members.
Consumer interests are covered by insurance and consumer redress, which is
provided by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is free to access.
This gives the estate agent
all the information and guarantees required under Home Information Packs
(Hip) regulations to sell your home and does not require any other
chargeable validation.

ABI was set up as an independent Home Information Pack (HIP) and energy performance certificate (epc) provider not attached to any estate agent. This allows customers when moving house to change estate agents (should the need arise) and to take their HIP with them without the inconvenience of rebranding from one estate agent to another.
